Cards finish in top-half after win over Eastleigh
The Laithwaite Community Stadium
Attendance: 1853 (226 Eastleigh)
John Goddard scored the winner on what was likely to be his last game for the club to end Woking's season in 12th place.
Keiran Murtagh put the Cards ahead in the 13th minute and Goddard added another two minutes later. Matt Tubbs got one back for Eastleigh in the second half but by then their slim play-off hopes were over.
Off the back of a second away win in a row, Garry Hill made three changes to the starting XI. Giuseppe Sole, Joey Jones and John Goddard came in to try and end Woking's season on a high.
Eastleigh needed to win by at least two goals and hope that Braintree lost at home to Altrincham, with Tranmere failing to win against Grimsby.
Had it not been for the offside flag, they'd have made the perfect start as Tubbs put the ball in the net from close range.
Their play-offs hopes were shortened, however, when Murtagh bundled home from less than two yards.
And before Eastleigh could recover, they'd conceded again. This time Goddard slotted in from close range, unmarked at the back post, for his 17th league goal of the season.
Josh Payne didn't enjoy his return to the Laithwaite Community Stadium, but it was his effort that deflected in off Tubbs to get Eastleigh back into the game with 15 minutes to play.
But it was to be Woking's day as they deservedly claimed all three points to leapfrog Bromley and Lincoln into 12th place.
