Matt Robinson's opener put the Cards ahead but on the stroke of half-time Ryan Bowman levelled for Gateshead to leave Woking with a second successive draw.

Joey Jones returned to the side for Joe Robinson as Woking aimed to win for the first time since January 9th, exactly three months ago.

The Cards started brightly and finally broke the deadlock through Robinson, who cut in from the right and saw his left-footed shot deflect off a defender and into the top corner.

Gateshead, in with an outside chance of making the play-offs, hadn't troubled Jake Cole until Brian Saah needlessly conceded a penalty. Bowman stepped up and duly slotted the spot-kick into the corner for the equaliser.

Daniel Carr had Woking's best chance of the second-half but his shot was deflected behind.

Star Player

Matt Robinson - The on-loan midfielder from Luton is beginning to show the type of form he demonstrated during the Christmas period, and from an more unnatural position to him on the wing.
