Four league defeats in a row for Cards

Attendance: 1305

A first-half goal from ex-Woking midfielder Jack Parkinson dealt the Cards fourth straight league defeat.

Prior to the match, Daniel Carr joined on loan from Cambridge United and went straight into the starting XI.

Keen to end a torrid run of form, Woking were second best in the first-half with Dover missing several good chances.

The deadlock was broken in the 34th minute, as Parkinson rose highest to glance home a header from a free-kick.

The introduction of Giuseppe Sole and Jake Caprice not long after the break improved Woking with Keiran Murtagh side-footing a good chance wide.

Despite having the majority of the play in the second half, Woking couldn't find a way through Dover's resilient defence and will now have to travel to Eastleigh, another play-off chasing side, to try and end this losing streak.

Star Player

Jake Cole - Not for the first time in recent weeks has Jake kept Woking in the match with some fine saves.
